i read somewhere that the kingdom is like yeast, and when i got to m. with the yeast of the kingdom, i started working real hard to get pieces of dough and stick them into the yeast.  after a while i noticed that the dough in general was not being affected.  what's wrong with this picture?  then i realized that the instructions were to put the yeast in the dough, not the dough in the yeast.  that's the only way the yeast will be able to work its way through the whole lump of dough.  might the dough represent a family, or a people group or a society or nation?

morning meeting

shared this morning on the differences between

thinking critically and analytically

and just being critical and complaining

felt our community struggles with this and started it off with my own confession of sin in doing the former.

Yeast

when i was first in the country of m. i would take the yeast from the dough, and stick it with the other yeast. then go and take a little bit of yeast from the dough and stick it with the other yeast.

etc. etc.
